How do educators use Sherpo?
Sherpo is a platform for selling digital content under your own brand. Educators use it to run their online courses, with video hosting, quizzes, certificates, progress tracking and memberships, and Sherpo takes 0% of their sales.
Can my school run on my own domain?
Yes. On Pro and Sherpo One, you can bring your own domain. On Lite, your site always lives at yoursite.sherpo.io.
Is video hosting included?
Yes. Every plan includes video hosting, a custom video player and delivery with no bandwidth fees. Lite includes 10 GB of storage and Pro 100 GB. Pro also includes 600 AI video minutes a month per store.
Can I issue certificates?
Yes, on Pro. Quizzes and certificates are built in, and each certificate can be verified by QR code.
Does Sherpo track student progress?
Yes, in the way you choose. A lesson can count as done when the student finishes the video or the slides, or when they mark it themselves, and you can also turn tracking off.
Is there a limit on courses or students?
Courses are unlimited, and so are students on Pro. Lite includes 2,500 customers, counting everyone in your list. Past that limit, you have 7 days over the limit, counted in total, to move up to Pro before new purchases and unlocks pause; existing students keep their access until your stores go offline at 14 days, and the stores are deleted at 44.
Does Sherpo add subtitles?
Yes, on Pro. Sherpo Pro drafts AI subtitles, summaries and video chapters when you ask, for you to check and publish. A lesson’s published transcript is available to your students’ AI assistants through the Customer MCP.
Can I sell a course for a limited time?
Yes. Close sales on a date, and everyone who bought before then goes through the course together. You can also schedule each lesson for a date.
Can I sell a course and a membership together?
Yes. Sell the course on its own, put advanced material behind a membership tier, or offer both in a bundle.
How does the price compare with Teachable or Kajabi?
At $2,500 a month in sales, Teachable Starter costs $2,718 a year and Kajabi Basic costs $2,148 a year. Sherpo Pro costs $588 a year, takes 0% of your sales and has unlimited courses.
Do I need a separate video host or blog?
No. Video hosting, a blog and coupons are part of Sherpo.
